St. George Syrian Orthodox Church of Rockland County is under the Malankara Archdiocese of Syrian Orthodox church in North America, which is under the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of His Holiness the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, the Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church.
